A new record of the genus Hesperus from China(Coleoptera: Staphylinidae)

Abstract

In a survey of rove beetles in Wutongshan Nature Reserve of Guangdong Province, a new record species was reported from China: Hesperus laevigatus Fauvel, 1895. The diagnostic characteristics and adult habitus of this species is described and illustrated in this paper.
