Further result on convergence for a class of nonlinear integro-differential equations with initial value problems

Abstract: A class of nonlinear integro-differential equations with initial value problems is investigated. By using the comparison principle and the method of quasilinearization, we obtain monotone iterative sequences of approximate solutions converging to the extremal solution with rate of order k(k≥2). The result extends the known one in the literature.
