Abstract: The salt-tolerance capability of plants were studied by germination under NaCl stress. Brine irrigating in pot and field salt tolerant test in order to screen the salt-tolerance plants in the heavy salt soils of the Yellow river tidal flat. The results showed that high concentration NaCl stress had significant inhibiting effect on seed germination. The seed germination rate was inversely proportional to NaCl concentration. The order of the relative growth yield in seedling is Suaeda salsa L>Tamarix chinensis Lour>Atriplex centralasiatica Iljin>Liminium bicolor>Atriplex triangularis>Oenothera littaralic Jacq>Kosteletzkya vivginica>Sesbania cnnabina(Retz) Pers>Apocynum venetum L.The Tamarix chinensis and the Suaeda salsa (L.)Pall., their salt-tolerance capability were more than 20 g/kg,were selected. It provides the test plants for biology improvement of the heavy salt soil.
