The two-dimensional elastic model for the analysis of the ground surface subsidence due to shallow tunnel excavation is established based on elastic mechanics theory. And the theoretical formula of ground surface subsidence due to shallow tunnel excavation in soft soil strata is given and is applied to the analysis of ground subsidence due to shallow tunnel excavation in soft soil strata. The Matlab is used to solve the calculation of the numerical integration and drawing of the figure in the course of the analysis. The agreement of the theoretical results with the field measurements shows that the model is satisfactory.

Considering both Landau free energy at thermodynamic equilibrium state should be stable and every order parameter should be real in extensive Landau-type phenomenological theory, we have obtained Landau expansion coefficients of BiFeO_3 materials. The magnetization hysteresis loop, polarization hysteresis loop, and the magnetic field dependence of the magnetoelectric coefficient are calculated, which are in good agreement with experimental data reported in previous literatures.

Based on the fundamental fact that the electric charge takes discrete value, the Schrdinger finite-differenced equation of the mesoscopic RLC circuit with a source is achieved. With a unitary transformation, the Schrdinger equation becomes the standard Mathieu equation. Using method of series expansion, the energy spectrum and the wave functions of the system are obtained.

The modification conditions were optimized for the preparation of sulfated lycium barbarum polysaccharide (SLBP) by using chlorsulfonic acid-pyridine method by L_9(3)~4 orthogonal design. The optimized conditions were 1∶4 of chlorosulfonic acid-topyridine, reaction temperature of 80 ℃ and reaction time of 2 h. The content of sulfur in SLBP and the degree of substitution (DS) were achieved to be 17.23% and 1.935, respectively. The nature of SLBP was characterized by UV spectra and infrared spectra analysis, and the inhibiting effect of SLBP to growth of Hela cell in vitro was tested with MTT method. In the range of 25~200 mg/L, LBP had little inhibited activity towards the Hela cells, while SLBP inhibited the growth of Hela cells remarkably with 31.71% inhibitory ratio. The SLBP prepared by the proposed sulfated method has higher sulfur content and degree of substitution, and obviously inhibiting effect to growth of Hela cells. The inhibitory ratio is positive correlation with the substitution degree and the tested dosage.

End-group modified poly(trimethylene terephthalate) polyester (PTT-TFA) was prepared by the esterification reaction between the hydroxyl end-groups of PTT and trifluoroacetic acid at room temperature, and its thermal properties were investigated by using the differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The results show that the melting point of PTT-TFA was 227.3 ℃, which is equal to pure PTT, but the crystallization temperature is lower than that of pure PTT. Furthermore, the crystallization rate of PTT-TFA is also lower than that of pure PTT. The effective activation energy of crystallization calculated by Friedman method also concludes that the PTT-TFA has lower crystallization ability than pure PTT. Since the end-groups of the modified polymer were larger than that of the pure PTT, the mobility of the molecular chain was decreased; this lowered the rate of melt-crystallization.

A series of heat sensitive crosslinked P(MMA-CO-BA) microcapsules were synthesized by emulsion polymerization with leucocompound as a core material and crosslinked P(MMA-CO-BA) as a wall material. The microcapsules with different glass-transition temperatures were obtained by changing the BA mass fraction in the monomer. The size distribution, surface morphology, thermal stability and glass-transition temperature(t_g) of the resultant microcapsules were characterized using Malvern particle size analysis, scanning electron microscopy(SEM), thermo-gravimetric analysis(TG) and differential scanning calorimetry(DSC), respectively. The results indicated that the microcapsules showed higher thermal stabilities. The microcapsules with smooth surface and spherical shape were prepared at different BA mass fractions. The mean particle size of the prepared microcapsules decreased with the increasing BA mass fraction in the monomer. t_g of the microcapsules were 115.0,110.3 and 94.3 ℃ when BA mass fractions were 5.0%, 10.0% and 15.0%, respectively.

For the gel network formed in the polycondensation of A_a-B_bC_c type, two different methods are proposed to calculate the number of dangling chains. The corresponding numerical results are also presented by taking the A_4-B_2C_2 reaction system as an example. It is shown that at a low conversion, the dandling chains display mainly the treelike structure with many branched chains, but these branched chains decrease at a high conversion. The present result can provide a possible clue for understanding the viscoelastic properties of polymer gel material.

Novel phosphors Sr_2MgSi_3O_9:Eu~(3+) synthesized by gel-combustion method in weak reductive environment. The as-synthesized phosphors were investigated by XRD, SEM and Fluorescence spectrophotometer. The results show that Sr_2MgSi_3O_9: Eu~(3+) phosphor possesses the similar tetragonal crystal structure as that of Sr_2MgSi_2O_7. The initial particles of as-synthesized phosphors are nearly spherical in shape, and the particle size is about 100 nm in diameter. The excitation spectrum of Sr_2MgSi_3O_9:Eu~(3+) sample presents wide band absorption between 220~300 nm, which is ascribed to the charge transfer between Eu~(3+)-O~(2-). The sharp peaks after 300 nm belong to f→f transition of Eu~(3+), and the strongest sharp peak is located at 400 nm, which is ascribed to the transition from the ground state of Eu~(3+) to ~5L_6 excited state. Therefore, samples can be efficiently excited by ultraviolet radiation from InGaN chip. The emission spectrum consists of two emission peaks at 592 nm and 618 nm, which are ascribed to ~5D_0→~7F_1 and ~5D_0→~7F_2 respectively. Moreover, it is found that co-doped Ti~(4+) with the proper content can make the emitting colour shift from orange-red to red, and improve intensity of luminescence effectively.

For the problem that the peak-to-average-power ratio (PAPR) of the orthogonal freque- ntcy division multiplexing (OFDM) system is high, the dual layered phase sequencing (DLPS) method is made to reduce the PAPR. The method divides the sub-carrier into two layers and each layer uses the suboptimal PTS to reduce the PAPR, so the method reduces the PAPR of the whole OFDM system. The results of the simulation show that the algorithm of dual layered PTS greatly reduced the complexity of the system, while PAPR has been in a situation of better control.

To overcome the drawbacks that nearest neighbour classification requires huge computation and memory storage, this paper proposes a improved algorithm (different iterative case filtering,DICF). In this algorithm, a set of samples with the poor classification ability is removed from the training set in each iteration until the training set is no longer getting smaller. It can be seen from analysis that time complexity of DICF is O (n~2). The experimental results on some real data sets demonstrate the effectiveness and the feasibility of the proposed algorithm. Compared to traditional methods, such as MCS,ICF and ENN, the condensed sets obtained by DICF is superior in storage and classification accuracy.

Density based clustering are effective and basic clustering techniques for data with spatial attributes. Although there are many proposed algorithms and applications for density a based spatial clustering, one of its widely used assumptions is that the data is distributed in a smooth space. Manifolds are approximately curved spaces which are locally like smooth spaces but not smooth spaces. The purpose of this paper is to propose new density based clustering algorithms on manifolds, that is, on curved spaces. The newly proposed algorithms will apply for nonlinear, non-uniform data distribution. A simple performance analysis is presented. Experimental data are given for testing the performances of the new algorithms.

Smoke movement is numerically simulated using FDS (Fire Dynamic Simulator) developed by NIST in a clean room with an upper-supply and bottom-exhaust air-conditioning system. The velocity field and temperature distribution in the early stage of a fire is analyzed. The effect of the air flow pattern on smoke movement as well as the effect on early stage fire detection are discussed. The temperature and concentrations near the ceiling are affected significantly and the detector activation time will be delayed for dozens of seconds compared with that of the room without air-conditioning systems.
