Mutual Influence Between the Adjacent Surface Discharges in a Dielectric Barrier Discharge

Abstract: The mutual influence between the adjacent surface discharges is investigated in a dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) system by using analogue simulation for the first time. In air-argon dielectric barrier discharge, the discharge undergoes four filaments-five filaments and the shape of surface discharge also changed with the applied voltage increases . In addition, the electric field distribution and electric potential distribution is established to conduct simulation in the locations of the corresponding filaments.
