Purification of total saponins from Coreopsis tinctoria Nutt.in Xinjiang by macroporous adsorptive resin

Abstract: To investigate the purification process of total saponins from Coreopsis tinctoria Nutt.using macroporous adsorptive resin.The assay of total saponins was determined by UV-Vis spectrophotometry,and the resins were selected using the parameters,such as static adsorption capacity,desorption ratio,dynamic adsorption capacity,and as well as dynamic desorption ratio.The D-101 macroporous resin is suitable for purification of total saponins from Coreopsis tinctoria Nutt.according to its adsorption and desorption ability for total saponins.The total saponins content is(40.53±0.81)%(n=3)in total solids through D-101 macroporous resin purification.The D-101 macroporous resin can be used for purification of total saponins obtained from Coreopsis tinctoria Nutt.in Xinjiang.
