Abstract: A method for the determination of vancomycin and quinolones residues in chicken was developed using liquid chromatography mass spectrometry(LC-MS).The sample was extracted with acetonitrile and purified using MSPE as the sorbent. The target compounds were separated on a Agilent ZORBAX SB-C18 column(3.0 mm×100 mm,1.8 μm)before submitting for detection by high-resolution mass spectrometry. The results showed that high correlation coefficients(r2>0.99)of the analyses were obtained within their respective linear ranges. The average recoveries and the relative standard deviations ranged from 71.2% to 98.8% and 6.8% to 14.3% respectively at the spiked levels of 5,10,25 μg/kg in chicken. This method is reliable, and suitable for the determination of vancomycin and quinolones residues in chicken.
