Design of the experimental system for battery parameter acquisition

Abstract: The characterizstic parameters such as voltage,resistance,and temperature of the battery and the relationship between them may reflect the complex internal changes of batteries.Therefore by detecting changes for voltage,resistance and temperature of the battery can provide some references for battery management.This paper describes a battery parameter acquisition experimental system based on lead-acid batteries.The system uses a multifunction digital multimeter to six and a half as an auxiliary measuring equipment,under the control of the follow-up circuit,and with the aid of software achieves a high accuracy,continuous,real-time measurement of voltage and data saving.The system uses the differential amplifier circuit,and makes use of the method of least squares to calibrate and to improve the accuracy and stability of resistance testing.The measurement results will be sent to the measurement collection terminals to display on the LCD screen.Meanwhile,through a dedicated software it can also achieve remote monitoring,parameters acquiring and data processing.The system makes use of Altium Designer electronic product development system to design hardware board, and makes use of C and C++ language to write hardware and software programs.Practices shows that the system is of high accuracy,and good stability,and has a- high practical value for the study of the integrated nature of the battery.
