Resonance Enhanced Multiphoton Ionization Spectrum of NO via C2∑ State

Abstract: The resonance enhanced multiphoton ionization (REMPI) spectrum in the range of 490~580 nm of NO is obtained. The spectrum is attributed to C2Σ←X2Π transition. NO molecules are ionized via the resonant intermediate C2Σ state and by (3+2) REMPI process. The value for force constant of the C2Σ state is given.
