anticancer effect of degradable nano-yttrium oxide hollow sphere drug delivery system

Abstract: Nano-yttrium oxide hollow sphere has broad application in the field of biological medicine.The uniform and well-dispersed Y2O3 hollow spheres(HYNPs)have been fabricated using phenolic resin spheres as template.The HYNP snot only exhibited a high DOX loading and release efficiency, but also showed the pH-sensitive degradableand drug release profiles. And the DOX release from the HYNPs-DOX in the cells increased with time. Moreover, the low cytotoxicity of HYNPs was found on MCF-7and MDA-MB-231 cells. When loaded with DOX, HYNPs-DOX exhibited a good anticancer efficiency in vitro, which showed a great potential in cancer treatment.
