Abstract: Drug combination therapy can significantly make up for the deficiency of single drug use and accelerate the development of new treatment options for the treatment of complex diseases.Curcumin is a 1,3-diketone compound with a variety of pharmacological effects, and its anti-tumor effect has received extensive attention. Curcumin can inhibit the proliferation of tumor cells and induce apoptosis of tumor cells. It has the characteristics of low toxicity and good tolerance. The study found that the combination of curcumin and clinical anti-tumor drugs has a certain synergistic effect, which can effectively inhibit the growth of cancer cells, decrease the toxic and side effects of drugs, reduce the dosage of drugs, and achieve the effect of synergistic attenuation. In this paper, the effects and possible mechanisms of the combined application of curcumin and anti-tumor drugs were summarized at the level of cells and experimental animals.

Key words: curcumin, antineoplastic drugs, drug combination, anti-tumor effect
