Abstract: For the destruction of concrete columns at high temperature, the mechanical behavior of axially loaded reinforced concrete columns was studied based on the finite element analysis software ANSYS at different temperatures. The results show that the reinforced concrete columns show a downward deformation from top to bottom at all ambient temperatures. Meanwhile, the column shows a more obvious temperature effect. The overall distribution of equivalent stress is almost uniform in the model. Yet, there is a significant increase from the inside constraint surface to the outside constraint surface, and the equivalent stress reaches the maximum value at the boundary of the constraint surface.
